Use the SaaS Configurator for custom billing models

The SaaS Configurator lets you build custom pricing tiers for the platform access you resell to clients. Instead of a fixed monthly fee for all clients, you can create different packages — each with its own price, feature set, and workspace limit — so clients are billed according to the tier they're on.

Who this is for

The SaaS Configurator is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. It requires Stripe to be connected for client billing. This feature is designed for agencies that resell white-labeled platform access as their own SaaS product at multiple price points.

What the SaaS Configurator lets you do

With the Configurator you can:

  • Define named pricing tiers (e.g., "Starter," "Growth," "Pro") with custom prices
  • Customize your offering — for example, offering extra tools, support or coaching sessions
  • Set brand limits per tier
  • Assign clients to a specific tier when onboarding them
  • Upgrade or downgrade clients between tiers as their needs change

The SaaS Configurator works alongside Rebilling. You can charge a base SaaS fee through the Configurator and a percentage of ad spend through Rebilling at the same time. See Charge clients a percentage of ad spend (Rebilling) for details.

How to create a pricing tier

  1. Go to Agency → Client Billing → SaaS Configurator.
  2. Click Add plan.
  3. Enter a plan name — this is what clients will see on their billing page (e.g., "Growth Plan").
  4. Set the monthly price in your billing currency.
  5. Configure the features for this tier.
  6. Save the plan. It's now available to assign to clients.
The saved plan appears in your pricing tier list. You can create as many tiers as you need — most agencies build 2–3 tiers (e.g., basic, standard, premium).
 

How to assign a client to a tier

When setting up their account, clients will be automatically paywalled. If you want to change who sees the paywall to pay, tap on Pricing Settings from the SAAS Configurator screen.
 

Common issues

The SaaS Configurator isn't visible in my settings

This feature requires a Pro or Enterprise plan. If you're on Plus, you'll see the standard client billing options but not the full Configurator. Upgrade to Pro to access tiered billing setup.

How do I automatically enable or disable features to clients on a particular pricing tier

Automatic feature gating is not yet available. We recommend configuring the platform for your most basic plan and enabling new features to upsold customers.
