Use AI avatars for UGC-style video ads
AI Avatars generate talking-head video ads with a synthetic presenter delivering your ad script. The result looks like user-generated content (UGC) or a spokesperson video — without a camera, actor, or editing studio.
Who this is for
AI Avatars are available on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Daily generation limits apply on Plus and Pro — you can produce a set number of avatar videos per day per workspace. Enterprise plans have custom limits.
This feature is particularly useful for:
- Brands that want UGC-style video without the cost of hiring creators
- Agencies testing video formats for clients before committing to video production
- Multi-language campaigns — avatars support multiple languages and regional accents
What AI avatars produce
You select a synthetic presenter (avatar) from a library of diverse options. You provide the script, and the avatar delivers it in video format. The output is a vertical or square video — ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, or Meta feed placements.
Key characteristics:
- Multiple avatar options — different ages, appearances, and presentation styles
- Multiple language and regional accent options for the same avatar
- Script-driven — the avatar reads your ad copy exactly as written
- No filming, editing, or post-production required
How to create an AI avatar video ad
- Open the Creative Hub.
- Select AI Avatar as the creative type.
- Browse the avatar library and select the presenter you want. Preview each avatar before selecting.
- Choose the language and accent for the video delivery.
- Select the format and duration of the video.
- Confirm the Branding and assets to be used on the background of the video.
- Write or paste your ad script. Keep it concise — 15-30 seconds of speech is typically 35-75 words. Shorter scripts have better completion rates on social.
- Click Generate. Video generation typically takes 1–3 minutes.
- Preview the result. If you're happy with it, save it to your creative library or add it directly to a campaign.
Generated avatar videos are saved in your Creative Hub library and are immediately available to use in any campaign on compatible platforms.
Script tips for better avatar videos: Write conversationally, not in marketing-speak. Use short sentences. Start with a hook — the first 3 seconds determine whether someone keeps watching. Avoid jargon. If the avatar says something that sounds unnatural, simplify the phrasing.
Daily limits
On Plus and Pro plans, avatar video generation has a daily limit per workspace. If you hit the limit for the day, generation will be unavailable until the next day's reset. The limit is visible in the Creative Hub next to the AI Avatar option — you can see how many generations you have remaining for the day.
Tip: Draft and review your scripts fully before generating. Revising and regenerating multiple times uses up your daily limit faster than generating once from a polished script.
Common issues
The avatar's lip sync looks off
Lip sync quality can degrade with very long sentences or unusual pronunciation (names, technical terms, foreign words). Break long sentences into shorter ones and spell out unusual words phonetically in the script if needed.
The video is in the wrong language
The language is set at the script-generation step when you choose the language and accent. If the output sounds wrong, regenerate and re-select the language option rather than relying on the default.
I've hit my daily limit
Daily limits reset daily. Check the available generation count in the Creative Hub before starting work if you need to plan around the limit. If you consistently need more generations, consider upgrading your plan or contacting your account team about Enterprise limits.
