How billing works
There are two separate billing relationships to understand: what you pay for the platform subscription, and what you pay for ad spend. These are completely separate charges.
Two separate bills
1. Platform subscription
Your subscription fee covers access to the platform — AI tools, campaign management, creative generation, reporting, and all other features. This is billed monthly (or annually if you chose that option) and charged to the card you entered when you signed up.
You can view and manage your subscription billing from Profile → Billing.
2. Ad spend
Ad spend is billed separately and directly by the ad platforms — Meta, Google, TikTok, and so on. When you run a campaign, the platform charges your connected ad account's payment method (usually a credit card you set up directly in Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, etc.).
Ad spend does not go through this platform. We don't charge you for ad spend, and we don't handle refunds for it. All ad spend billing questions go directly to the relevant ad platform.
Subscription billing details
- Billing cycle: Monthly subscriptions renew on the same date each month. Annual subscriptions renew once per year.
- Payment method: Credit or debit card. You can update your card in Profile → Billing.
- Invoices: Invoices are emailed to the account owner after each billing cycle. You can also download past invoices from Profile → Billing → Manage Subscription → Invoices.
- Failed payment: If a charge fails, you'll receive an email notification. Your account will remain active for a short grace period while you update your payment method. Failure to update will result in the account being paused.
Changing or cancelling your subscription
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription from Profile → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Common billing questions
Why was I charged twice?
You may be seeing one charge from the platform subscription and one from an ad platform (Meta, Google, etc.). These are separate. Check the charge description — platform charges typically show the company name; ad spend charges show "Facebook," "Google," or the platform name.
My ad account has a balance but my campaigns aren't running
A balance in your ad account doesn't automatically mean campaigns will run — the campaign must be active and the ad account must be in good standing. If campaigns are paused or the ad account is restricted, the balance won't be used. See: My ad isn't spending — what's wrong?
Can I get a refund on ad spend?
Ad spend refunds are handled by the ad platform directly. Contact Meta, Google, or TikTok support for ad spend refund requests. We cannot process these on your behalf.
