Create reusable templates in the Creative Hub

The Creative Hub lets you save campaigns as templates — formats, creative, audience and copy you can reuse across campaigns or share with other workspaces. This saves time when launching seasonal or location-specific campaigns and repeating creative formats or audiences.

What a template stores

A Creative Hub template captures the structure and assets of a creative so it can be reproduced quickly. Templates can include:

  • The image and video assets used
  • Targeting, location and demographics set
  • Ad copy (headline, primary text, description) — either locked or editable
  • The ad format and dimensions (square, vertical, story, etc.)
  • Structure of the campaign (objective, format)

Templates do not save budget settings, retargeting or lookalike audiences — those are configured per campaign at launch time.

How to save a creative as a template

  1. Open the Advertise tab from the top navigation.
  2. Find the campaign you want to save — either one you've just generated, or an imported or older one.
  3. Tap the three dots and click on 'Convert to Template'.
  4. You can now edit and share this template with other workspaces (see Share templates across clients).

The template appears in your Creative Hub library and is available to apply when setting up campaigns or ad sets.

How to use a saved template

  1. When creating a new campaign select 'Templates' as a launch mode, or head over to the Creative Hub and tap 'Templates'.
  2. Browse your template library, select the template you want to apply and tap on launch.
  3. The template loads with its layout and copy. You can edit any element (headline, image, colors) before launching the campaign.
  4. Push live, schedule or draft the campaign.

Naming matters. Templates accumulate quickly for agencies managing multiple clients. Use a consistent naming convention from the start — something like [Client type] – [Goal] – [Format] – [Version] makes searching and sharing much easier.

Editing an existing template

To update a template — for example, swapping a seasonal offer or updating copy — open the template from your library, make the changes, and save it as a new version. Existing campaigns using the old template are not affected by the update.

Common issues

I can't find a template I previously saved

Templates are workspace-scoped by default. If you're viewing a different workspace than where you created the template, it won't appear. Switch to the correct workspace, or check whether the template was created as a shared template (which appears under a shared templates section).

A template isn't generating the right format

Templates lock in the ad format at the time of saving. If you need a different format (e.g., vertical instead of square), create a new creative using the template as a starting point and change the format before launching.
