Connect Snapchat

Connect your Snapchat Business account to create and manage Snapchat ad campaigns. You'll need an active Snapchat Ads account before you can connect.

Who this is for

Anyone who wants to run Snapchat ads. You'll need admin access to a Snapchat Ads Manager account.

Before you begin

  • A Snapchat Business account — create one at business.snapchat.com if you don't have one yet
  • An active Snapchat Ads Manager account connected to your Business account
  • Admin role on the Snapchat Ads account
  • A payment method added to Snapchat Ads Manager
  • A linked Public Profile on Snapchat.
Snapchat requires a business account — you cannot connect a personal Snapchat profile. If you've only used Snapchat personally, create a Business account first at business.snapchat.com.
 

How to connect

  1. Go to Brands from the top navbar.
  2. Under Connected accounts, find Snapchat and click Connect.
  3. A Snapchat authorization window will open. Log in with your Snapchat Business account credentials.
  4. Review the permissions and click Allow.
  5. Select the Snapchat Ads account you want to connect from the popup, then click Confirm.
Once connected, Snapchat will be available as a platform when creating new campaigns. Your existing Snapchat campaigns will appear in the dashboard.
 

Common issues

My Snapchat Ads account doesn't appear in the dropdown

Make sure the Snapchat Business account you authorized has at least one active Ads Manager account linked to it. You can verify this at business.snapchat.com. If no ad account exists, create one there first.

I get an authorization error after approving permissions

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and attempting the connection again. If the issue persists, try in a different browser or an incognito window.
